Living off the Acorns in the Tree

This time of year always has me a bit flustered. There's a fresh foot of snow on the ground outside my house and it's 10 degrees. My trucks, trailers, driveway are all buried and the one lesson I've learned in over two decades of repping is that the paddlesports business is a WEATHER business. California was hammered with rain in January, February and March. Portland and Seattle just received record snowfalls and the roads were frozen to a stand still which made national news. And yet, there is just this overwhelming urge that hits me every season around this time-It's time to hustle!
